Dan is a Sustainable Design Director at Savills, with a wealth of experience in delivering net-zero carbon buildings and masterplans. He is a Chartered Engineer with over eighteen years’ experience in low carbon, sustainable design, climate science and related national and local environmental policy. His approach to design and retrofit encompasses not only environmental sustainability and whole life carbon analysis, but also social and economic elements, reflecting the need to engage communities and businesses in truly effective sustainable design.

BRISTOL SPORT
Bristol Sport’s group-wide sustainability initiative, Project Whitebeam was launched at the start of last season. It seeks to recognise, measure and mitigate the group’s impact on climate change, waste, water, biodiversity and air quality. Since its launch the football club became the first club to gain Green Code accreditation since the launch of the EFL Green Clubs scheme. Peter’s remit also includes non-technical client Project Management of the Ashton Gate Sporting Quarter development, which will include a new arena for Bristol Flyers adjacent to Ashton Gate Stadium.
This session with Ashton Gate Stadium and Bristol Sport will focus on sustainability as a strategic imperative for this complex and iconic group of premises.

Allison joined HM Land Registry in 1989 and is Head of Local Land Charges Implementation. Following a period of working on a wide range of Land Registry casework, Allison moved to Head Office in 2002. Working in Public Affairs and Product Development she worked with ministers and project-managed a range of commercial products and services.

Nick is a sustainability professional with 20+ years of experience working with property investment, development, design and construction organisations. His work focuses on the “software” of how buildings, places and supporting services are designed, delivered, governed, managed and curated, and how this links to the “hardware” to create in-real-life environmental, social and economic value. Nick is the founding director of sustainable place strategists, Futureground.

Tina is co-founder and managing director at Airsat Real Estate. Tina has over 10 years of diverse experience in senior management, from working in a scientific background to later moving over to the property sector. Tina has been an active member of Association of Residential Letting Agents for the past 4 years. Airsat has successfully built and managed portfolios for a number of its clients and works with investors, as well offering an all-around service from design to build and management.
